When you sign up as a hummingbird & connect your Instagram, you’ll see available campaigns. You can hit “interested” in the ones you genuinely would love to post about on social media and brands will select you if they want to collaborate.
A campaign is like a job posting. A brand might be looking for 10 hummingbirds to visit Whole Foods and grab their new beverage to try and share. Selected hummingbirds would get a $50 gift card to Whole Foods with the request to create an Instagram Reel of their experience.
Hummingbirds is all about in-kind campaigns. We almost exclusively offer retail-specific gift cards or other forms of digital gift cards.
Yes! As a hummingbird, you decide which campaigns to join. Express interest in the ones that excite you, skip the rest, and there’s no minimum required — you’re in control of your bird experience.
The brands we work with have different criteria. Some are only looking for 10 hummingbirds in a specific city. Others want hundreds of millennial moms to try and share a product. If you express interest in the campaign, brands will likely look at your followers, engagement on your content, and the style of your posts to see if you’re a good brand fit.
