3 ideas for designing your next campaign

3 ideas for designing your next campaign

After analyzing the success of your previous campaign, it’s time to look towards the next one! There are three main ideas you can leverage for your next campaign with the Hummingbirds.

1. Repeat Your Perk With New Birds

If the buzz you received running a campaign with 30 hummingbirds was exciting, just wait until 60 or 90 birds are talking about your brand! You’ll see an echo chamber form where people in your target location are hearing about your brand from multiple other people.

Soon not just hummingbirds will be talking and posting about your brand; people who saw the posts and tried it for themselves will be talking about you, too! We make it easy inside our platform to hit “copy campaign” so you can go live with the same campaign in minutes!

2. Use the Same Birds with a Different Perk

Did you love how your first campaign turned out? Repeat it with a new perk that your business offers. For example, if your first perk was a complimentary 30-minute massage, your next perk could be a complimentary facial. Or, if you gave your hummingbirds $50 gift cards to try your spring-inspired menu, give those hummingbirds another gift card to try your summer-inspired lineup.

It’s important to note that hummingbirds have to express interest in your campaign in order to participate. You can select the same birds, but we cannot guarantee that they all will express interest in participating again.

3. Try Something Completely Different

There are four main types of campaigns that brands typically run:

  1. Events

  2. Visiting during a timeframe

  3. Buying a product

  4. Mailing a product

Why not try a new one to see which type the consumers in your target location respond to best? Sometimes this involves thinking outside the box. Rather than sending your Hummingbirds a gift card to try your cafe, prepare a sample tray where they can try different foods. Or, instead of mailing your Hummingbirds a few nail polish colors to try, host an event where they can try on different colors and bring three of their favorite colors home.

As always, our team is here to help you design the best campaign possible! Please reach out if you would like feedback on a new idea, help selecting a new perk, etc.
